REPORT ON BALANCE OF MONARCHS (1000 TOTAL)

Greetings All:

495 tagged Monarchs (Balance of 1000) were successfully released east of
the Cascade Mountain range in Washington State (Lake Chelan).  Total
Monarchs released for the study consisted of 1,000 specimens.

The remaining Tag numbers are c001 to c495.  

Data on this weekends released will be studied for the purpose of
determining the migration of the Monarchs from Eastern Washington to
California.

The federal permit number is 34808.
