Marked C.crocea on S.France

Today Dutch Butterfly COnservation received a message from
one of our butterfly watchers. In southern France, near Larrau in
the Pyrenees, she saw a Colias croceus with a small aluminum square
of 0,5 x 0,5 cm on 16 September 1997.
Her (and our) question is: Is this a butterfly marked for some
kind of research. We would welcome information.
It can be mailed to vlinders at bos.nl and I will pass it on to her.
