Melitaea cinxia

I am in the process of describing the phylogeography of Melitaea cinxia
across its range using mitochondrial dna sequence information. I would
therefore be extremely grateful to anyone who can provide me with specimens
from anywhere, but particularly from central, eastern and southeastern
Europe. Any information about other contact people or specific localities
where this species is known to occur would also be appreciated.

I am usually able to successfully amplify the target sequences from dried
adults which are less than one or two years old and which have not been
softened by rehydration for spreading. Adults or larvae preserved in
alcohol or frozen are also good.
