Butterfly migs

Hi folks;
I tried to do a little butterfly hunting this AM before going to work,
with limited success. However, along with Cabbage Whites (4) and various
Hesperiids of dubious distinction, I saw two Cloudless Giant Sulphurs
(Phoebus sennae) in very directed flight headed South by a little West
near Black Mountain NC. I had to take a bearing off the Sun with my
pocket watch, but I would estimate 190 or so degrees from true North.
They were not stopping for nectar or sight seeing. Is there anyone I
need to report to on this?
Sincerely;
Alex Netherton
