Butterfly colour vision

Hi Everyone,
                    Coud someone help confirm a few facts, 1) butterflies see
more colours than any other animal known i.e. have a wider range of wavelengths
percieved.  2) Butterflies had evolved as a group before the end of the
creatceous about 80mya, I would actually like to know what the oldest butterfly
(not moth) fossil is and where it originates from.
