Butterflied my favorite canyon near Glendora yesterday.         
Butterflied my favorite canyon near Glendora yesterday.  Few & far
between--my first Sara Orangetips (4), one Western Tiger Swallowtail, 2
Western Brown Elfins, a Red Admiral and 6 Cabbage Whites.  The road was
closed as stream had broken through levee in low spot so only got to
walk in that far.  Plethora of birds and nectar plants.  It should be
open in a few days after clearing a mud slide further upcanyon trapping
those in ranger cabin!   We now believe in El Nino!
