Blue Metalmarks in RGV 12-14 Nov 98!!!

Three Blue Metalmarks *Lasaia sula* were seen by many observers on 14 Nov
1998 in Harlingen, Cameron Co., TX. The exact location was in the butterfly
garden across the street from the Harlingen Auditorium were the Rio Grande
Birding Festival is being held. They were nectaring on Coral Vine *Antigon
leptopus*. One was seen at the same location on 13 Nov. 1998.  Yet another
was seen in Hugh Ramsey Nature Park also in Harlingen on 12 Nov. 1998. As
far as I know this species host plant is still unreported. Mike
