I will be arriving in McAllen late in the afternoon of Tues. Nov. 17. I
will be meeting with a real estate developer who is considering donating
land to NABA for use in creating a world-class butterfly garden.
Although the odds that this will go through probably aren't high, it's
certainly worth trying to make happen. I will be in McAllen from Tues
through Sat. Nov. 21, leaving on Sun. the 22nd. Maybe we can get
together at some point during that time. I'd love to talk with you
about the Santa Ana article (preferable in the evening) or you can join
me in the field if you would like. I will be staying at the Hampton Inn
in McAllen (tel 682-4900) and you can reach me there or leave a message
for me. Did the Isabella's Heliconian ever reappear?
Best wishes,
Jeff Glassberg
