Even better than Bio-serv for artificial diets is a company in Arkansas (or
Miss?) called Southland Products.  The prices are very reasonable and you
don't have to buy a lifetime supply to get a decent price.  Last time I
looked nearly all the types of diet were less than $5 per liter.  Of
course, I left the contact information at work so maybe you can find them
with a web search.
