This is sort of OT but first, Silicon Valley is in Northern California...an
important point for those of us who live here <vbg> and we don't get quite as
much sun as the south does. But more importantly, photovoltaic cells are
extremely inefficient. You couldn't fit enough cells on a typical city lot to
power your home let alone a business trying to power all the equipment many have.
