A colleague of mine who has looked into bins. for butts. (and
dragonflies) at great length (!) tells me that Opticron 8 x 42 "waterproof"
also focus down to your toes and that the optics are nearly as good as
B & L Elites. Here in the UK the Opticron bins. are (if you shop around)
less than half the price of B & L Elites, 300 as opposed to 6-700.
Beware also, in the UK, exactly the same model (Opticron 8x42
"waterproof") are sold by "In Focus" as "Deltas" for about 100 more!
