airtight storage how?

Doug is right, the Illinois Natural History Survey stopped using Vapona.  

I'm not real convinced *any* of this stuff is very safe, but at least you
can smell the mothballs so you know if you're breathing it.  THe only
ideas I have so far are still for more Tupperware (maybe nested small
boxes inside big boxes).  I did try enclosing the collection in a black
trash bag, and you'd sure think that would have been airtight, but it
wasn't.
