Hi,

I'd argue that we all probably get enjoyment from the group in
slightly different ways. I, personally don't breed Saturnids and I get
a bit bored with all the headers from people in America wanting to
swap or sell stuff. I don't disagree with people wanting to do this
but there is probably a better forum for it - and as it constitutes
advertising it is not suitable for a normal usenet group.

What I look out for is mainly a) UK information on what people have
seen in their area and b) discussion about Leps and Lep issuses (both
scientific and environmental).

Well, 'offends' is too strong a word. I'd just rather that people use
the livestock listserver if they want to swap or sell livestock. If
this is being under-used because not enough people know about it
perhaps there should be a regular (monthly) posting reminding people
what the correct channel is for this kind of post.
