Every year I conduct a Labor Day butterfly walk for the a State Park in
Pennsylvania. Last year, part way through our journey, two small children
came running to me with their hands full of butterfly wings. When
questioned on where the wings came from, I was told that they were found
beneath a plant. Upon investigation of said plant we found the wings
perhaps two dozen assorted swallowtails. The plant it seemed was a
favorite perch of a drangonfly. Situated along a woodland path it made
the perfect place for the dragonfly to sit and wait for lunch to arrive.
