Grizzly bears and moths

There have been several articles in the media (Newspaper) based on work
being done out of the Univ. of MT at Missoula I believe. I have seen two,
but don't have the references. Try the U Montana Zoology staff - should be
a Web Page somewhere I would think. There must be papers in print as well.
Apparently Noctuid moths of several species (mainly Euxoa ??) aesivate in
high altitude talus slopes and rock slides, and are eaten in large quantity
by Grizzly's and are considered an important season food source. Very high
fat content !
