I have just received a report of an early butterfly sighting in the UK.
A peacock (Inachis io) was seen today, 11th January, at the Glamorgan
Wildlife Trust's nature reserve at Priors Wood on the Gower Peninsula,
South Wales.
It has been a cold but sunny day after a frosty night.
