How manipulate butterflies?

Hi all,

I've to do an inventory this summer of dragonfly and butterfly. I've
experience with dragonfly but nothing with butterfly. Dragonfly can be
manipulate holding the 3 legs of the same side between thumb and index
finger. (also with wings). Butterflies seems to be much more brittle!
