western canada season opener

[Kondla, Norbert FOR:EX]

just north of 49 degrees in southern British Columbia official spring nicely
coincided with the appearance of Compton's Tortoiseshell in my dry backyard
at valley bottom elevation whilst higher up a Polygonia was seen cruising
over 2 feet of snow. happy days are here again !!!
