Moths on the night of 1st/2nd May (UK)

On the night of 3rd-4th May, when conditions were a little cooler, and while
a bright moon fought the orange sodium glare of West London, I recorded at
Willowbank, North Denham

Muslin moth              Diaphora mendica          1
Early grey                  Xylocampa areola         2

Common quaker     Orthosia stabilis             1
May highflier            Hydriomena impluviata   1
Eurrhypara hortulata   Small magpie (micro)   1
