Moths can make you sick....

Only time I have ever seen anyone ill from moth exposure it appeared to be
an allergic reaction to the scales (puffy, watery eyes at first followed by
runny nose and cough).  I have also been collecting and had nights where so
many moths came to the sheet that you had to stand upwind of the cloud of
scales or you developed what we coined "moth cough."
