Carolinian Canada

I would consider only Point Pelee & the Rondeau peninsula to be Carolinian
in biota for Ontario. Waterloo is farther north and would be in the
Transition zone if you use that terminology. Ontario ranges from *Opuntia*
prickly pear cactus at Point Pelee to polar bears at Cape Henrietta Maria,
and from the longitude of western Connecticut to the longitude of eastern
Texas. It is however smaller than Quebec wich is about four times the size
of France (or Texas).
