Plea for help in current research

preserved specimens of butterflies from the family Danainae
for research that will be carried out at the university of
Southampton, UK.
Samples of a range of butterflies (listed below)are
required for genetic analysis, and therefore donations from
listsubscribers are welcome in any condition provided they
are identifiable. Ideal specimens should be preserved in
alcohol, but dried ones are also fully adequate. Whole
specimen would be ideal including wings where
possible as these will be useful as a method of identifying
the samples. I fully understand listmembers would be
unwilling to part with whole specimens so partial remains
(even simply the legs alone) would be highly useful to our
work.
