Re-Migration of V. atalanta

Ornitologist have reported massive re-migration of Vanessa atalanta in
France and Belgium.
During the second half of september V. atalanta has been reported in Torgny
(Most southern point of Belgium) in active re-migration. During October
several reports came in from France; In Haute Savoie and Alps millions of V.
atalanta were seen in re-migration from Nord to South on several Cols and
Mountains. As high as 1900 m the Leps were seen flying back to the south.
Ornitologists have counted 2-3000 within 5 hours time. The main period was
between 11 and 17 october in S- France.

Any reports would be appreciated , especially when V. atalanta has bene seen
migration south in Scandinavian countries.
