You can feed the butterfly on a grape or overipe fruit moistened slightly with
water.
Split the grape in half and place the monarch on it.  Use a toothpic to uncoil
the tongue if it does not feed immediately.

If parts of the wing are available repair can be made with superglue, model
airplane cement or nail polish. The problem is holding the butterfly still
enough to do the repair as it takes practice.  Allow the butterfly to rest
awhile before releasing.
