What you should do is either 1/ send the scan(s) to your correspondent
via email or 2/ post them to the alt.binaries.animals newsgroup and post
a notice here on the sci.bio.entomology.lepidoptera newsgroup.  That way
everybody is happy and you can post all six of them if you want. 
Alternatively, you could put them on a website you control, which means
that they would not disappear from public view until **you** decide they
should do so.  Franlky, I would post all six in a single message about
four screenfuls long.  The images would then be of reasonable size for
identification purposes.
