Sorry we cannot help you with *Ectodemia populella*(Question spelling of
*Ectodemia* should there be an e after the o), if you could give us a loacation
it would be very helpful.

*Ectoedemia* this is a primitive and rather large genus. The adults tend to
have large rough scales on their wings. The genus has been divided into three
groups based on the life history. If you can provide more information we may be
able to help you further.
