Illinois Monarch Sightings

Two monarchs, were seen today in Grandtower, IL (southern Illinois
about 2 hours south of St. Louis, MO) .  They didn't appear particularly 
worn or tattered. Another male, also fairly fresh looking was captured 
around Ava, IL."

Amazing that they are being seen there already.  Are there any milkweed 
sprouts available for them there?  Here in my part of Maryland the buddleia 
hasn't grown much and there's no sign of milkweed... yet.
