Monarchs Sighted from Gulf Oil Rigs

Alan Wormington of the "Migration-over-the-Gulf Project  reports that
during March, he saw many monarch butterflies. A map at one web site
shows the nine offshore locations from which observations are being made
(transgulf.org). Another site has reports of sightings
(www.geocities.com/gulfmigrants/.

Keep those "first sightings" of monarch butterflies coming into Journey
North or to this writer.
