Nice picture. Looks like an 'Old Lady' moth (Mormo maura (Linnaeus,
1758)). They seem to be attracted to buildings.
The Heath Fritillary is tricky - it could possibly be a False Heath
Frit. but you need to see the underside to be sure. Many people say
they can ID they from the top surface but I know a few people who live
in Europe who will disagree!
