Early and Late season butterflies in Va

Despite previous cold weather in December, I have had some late and early
season butterfly sightings.

December 30, 1999 Maymont Park, Richmond, Virginia
one Clouded Sulphur (fresh)
one Variegated Fritillary (fresh)

January 2, 2000 Maymont Park, Richmond, Virginia
one Cloudless Sulphur (fresh)
one Orange Sulphur (fresh)

I took some video of the Cloudless sulphur and a still will be posted on my
website in a day or two.
