In response to Jim' query:

Several collectors had the The Honda EU1000i at the Sierra Visita
meetings, and its the one I would get --- its about 1/2 the weight of other
generators that are also nosier and have a shorter run-time.

I got mine off the web for about 150-200 less than the local cost (this
