Not too sure about trade regulations.
G. isabellae is the only Lepidopteran listed under
Appendix III (protected species) of the Bern
Convention - see their website for the degree of
protection afforded thereby
(http://www.nature.coe.int/english/cadres/berne.htm).
It is also listed in Annex 2 (special animals occuring
in habitats designated for conservation)

annex 5 (animals susceptible to exploitation)
(http://www.arborea.com/fr/europe/annexe5.htm)of the
European Parliament Directive 92-43-CCE
(http://www.arborea.com/fr/europe/Directive92-43-CEE.htm).

Hope this gives some indication of this species
status.
