commissioned plates of watercolours by Donald Russwurm 53 colour

many of living examples of varieties, 12 black and white photographs and 8 
diagrams. It includes a biography of the wellknown butterfly artist (who

illustrated, amongst others 'South's British Butterflies' and his own 
'Aberrations of British Butterflies') as well as chapters on the
