In Richmond, Virginia at Maymont Park, I saw a variety of Spring butterflies.
(March 15, 2000) The most unusual was a very small Variegated Fritillary. I
also saw an early Tiger Swallowtail. The other butterflies include the Cabbage
White (common). I sighted several Orange and Clouded sulphurs, a few Spring
Azures, a Falcate Orange-Tip, anglewing sp. and a Mourning Cloak.
