For all those to whom I sent a description of this device: please
note that I was far too conservative on the time required to relax the
claspers to the point where they can be moved around. It takes only 15
seconds in the hot water--maybe less. Longer times run the risk of relaxing
the thorax, whereupon the wings may start to lift.
