Had today off so thought I would look for a few new bugs for my buddy Don
Rolfs. I hiked up Finger Rock Canyon on the north side of Tucson to see what I
could see. Not a lot flying but I did have some luck. I saw two Desert
Orange-Tips and nearly two dozen Southwestern Orange-Tips. Always nice to see
those guys.  And for the rest of the story;
Pipevine Swallowtail
Red-Spotted Purple
Queen
Gulf Fritillary
Sleepy Orange
Hackberry
Great-Purple Hairstreak
Marine Blue
Texas Crescent
Spring Azure
Arizona Powdered Skipper
and three unidentified skippers. (I really dont get the skipper thing)

All in all, a great day out. Its been very dry so I didnt expect much. I'm
not Mr. Lep, but its been a long time since I've seen a new bug in Arizona.
Come on July MOTH action.
