Dr. Lincoln P. Brower will be the guest speaker at the Pacifc Grove
California Natural History Museum on Sunday, November 5 at 
2:00 p.m. His lecture and slide program, entitled "Monarch Butterfly 
Migration in North America: Our Cultural Treasure", is sponsored by 
Friends of the Monarchs. A question and answer period and reception
will follow the lecture.

Dr. Brower is Research Professor of Biology at Sweet Briar College
in Virginia and Distinguished Service Professor of Zoology,
Emeritus at the University of Florida. He is considered the world's
premier authority on Monarch Butterfly migration, working
ceaselessly to preserve overwintering habitats and educate the public
about this unique phenomenon.

Museum Directions

The Museum is located at the corner of Forest and Central Avenues
in downtown Pacific Grove, Calif. one block down from Lighthouse
Avenue and two blocks up from Lovers Point Beach. Parking is
available around the Museum.

Monarch Grove Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is located on Ridge Road, one block west of the
intersection of Lighthouse Avenue and 17 Mile Drive. Parking is
available at the entrance.
