I personally have the re-release of the moth book (1960's or so),
softbound with photos on the cover. However, here at the office we
have original copies (very old looking, hardcover) of both the
butterflies and the moths. The butterfly book is literally falling
apart. They say on the binding in gold print "THE Nature Library
Vol. VI" (butterflies) and "Vol. VII" (moths). It's interesting
that Ron's says NEW Nature Library. What were Vols. I-V? I'd assume
other animal groups and by different authors? Also, the moth book
says published 1904 by Doubleday but also 1903 by Holland??
Interesting stuff about some crusty old books. :-) Rich
