The question posed was "mosquito spraying". The question answered was 
"mosquito spraying". 

The pesticide used in the 1950's was primarily DDT, but unfortunately 
the pesticide applicator didn't always use DDT, particularly in later 
years.  The applicator explained that DDT was not as effective as it had 
been, but when asked what they were spraying, would only answer "some 
mixture". 

Shortly thereafter our community terminate the contract.  The following 
a Tiger Swallowtail was seen in the yard----the first in 7 years.
