Jet black moth

I have received an inquiry from Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Anyone have any idea what it is?

"I saw a large moth (maybe 4-5cm long) at my house which was almost entirely
jet black, with some orange on the abdomen and a bit on the wings. I didn't
get a good at it so I can't say exactly where the orange was, although I
think the orange on the abdomen was at the end. It also had long "ferny"
antennae. What could it have been?"
