Adonis Blue

Hello!

I am trying to find information about the fluctuations in 
population size and location for the Adonis Blue butterfly 
in the UK (and possibly Europe).  I have been studying the 
genetics of the species for the last 3 years and would like 
to correlate my data with information about population 
dynamics over the last 100 years, or so!  I am particularly 
interested in finding out about any locations where 
populations which are known to have undergone a decline, or 
possibly even disappeared, especially in cases where the 
population has subsequently re-appeared due to 
recolonisation events.

Any information about the butterfly's distribution history 
would be gratefully recieved!
