relaxing jar and mimic

I would like to relax some old lep specimens that have been in my freezer
for some time.  In the past, I've had trouble with molds growing in my
relaxing jars.  Can anyone recommend a good technique for relaxing
butterfly specimens.

Also, yesterday I collected a wonderful clear-winged moth, yellow jacket 
(Vespula) mimic.  I am not sure of the species.  It's behavior even was
yellow jacket-like. It has been years since I have seen one of these in
this Western Oregon.  If anyone is interested or studying Batesian
mimicry, I would be happy to send this specimen to them.
