Hello - Please bear with me if this posting is inappropriate (in which
case could you 'point' me at a more appropriate newsgroup).

I have a rather nice picture (27kb) of a caterpillar from a grassy/bushy
wooded area at the edge of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire,
England. I have looked through my copy of Collins New Generation Guide
'Butterflies and Day-flying moths of Britain and Europe' but, so far
have been unable to find it.

The picture can be seen at:
 http://www.forest-haven.co.uk/pix/catapila.jpg
It is a light green colour, with clumps of white bristles on the
segments. Along the centre of some rings there is a clump of bristles
that is pale orange. The 'tail' clump of bristles is a deep red.

In friendship,
- --
Eric
