Need Help - Food plants

Hello everyone,

I would like to know wich is the best host plant(s) for Eacles imperialis
imperialis. Which plants they prefer ? I heard about Pinus strobus ?? Pinus
sylvestris ? Juglans cinerea ?

Also, I have problems with Vanessa cardui... Young cats dont accept Cirsium,
Anaphalis, Malva... so what they eat ??? I though Cirsium was their favorite
food plant.. ?
