TX-Butterfly listserv (171 subscribers) has moved from the National Audubon
server to that of the University of Houston.

TX-BUTTERFLY STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
This list is set up to be a resource primarily for discussing Lepidoptera
(butterflies and moths) found in Texas. Discussions concerning odonates,
other invertebrates, native plants, creating habitat for these, and other
related naturalist topics will be considered on-topic as long as the
discussion remains focused on locating and identifying them in Texas and in
close neighboring areas (specifically northern Mexico, western Louisiana,
eastern New Mexico and southern Oklahoma). Also on-topic will be posts about
seminars, field trips, books and guides to finding insects and habitat in
Texas, and the accompanying paraphernalia, such as binoculars and related
equipment. Anyone of any level of expertise (including no expertise!) in
these subjects is encouraged to participate and post information and
questions.
