asterius or asterias?

Hi,

In Butterflies of Canada by Layberry et al., under the species
description for the Black Swallowtail, the authors state that ssp.
asteriUs occurs in Canada.  However, in the plates (Plate 4 to be
exact), the spelling of the the ssp. is asteriAs.  So, which is the
correct spelling?
