Mercury Vapor off a car

Thanks for all the info, Bill!  I received a few private emails in response to
my post, and was told basically the same thing by others who run their lights
this way.

I'm now looking at an 800 watt inverter, which needs to be connected directly
to the battery.  I'll connect the two using jumper cables, as one who's done it
suggested.
