veronius or veronicus

Can anybody help:
Kudrna, 1985 (European butterflies named by Hans Fruhstorfer) lists
veronicus Fruhstorfer, 1917 (with c) as a ssp. of alciphron Rottemburg,
1775, and this on pages 46, 49.
Leraut (in both checklists, 1980 and 1997) lists it as veronius Fruhstorfer,
1917 (without c).
According to Kudrna above, Fruhstorfer published it in Entomologische
Rundschau 34:17 (Neue Lycaeniden).
Is this the same thing ?
If so, which one is correct ?
If not, where was veronius published ?
Thanks,
Guy.
