I see that the new BC book treats Deciduphagus iroides and D. augustinus as
distinct species, altho it does not use the genus name I use here. I came
to the same conclusion back in 1999. I have not yet been able to find any
literature that gives any evidence for treating them as one species; but I
could easily have missed some old paper in an obscure journal. If anyone
has any relevant citations on this; I would sure like to know what they are.
