Hi Leps-L'ers - I'm looking for the origin of the word "Sallow", as used with some of the Cuculliinae. Does it have something to do with some of the larvae that feed on willow (salix) catkins before turning to herbaceous plants, or perhaps the yellowish color of many of the adults?
Any info would be appreciated!
